Accessibility statement
Last reviewed: October 2026
Commitment
This site should be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or voice control. It is designed with the same rules it teaches.
Standard
The site aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Designing for accessibility is not the same as confirmed conformance: conformance is confirmed by testing the built site, and part of that testing is still pending (see below).
How it has been checked so far
- Design review against The Bridge Method checklist: color pairs, type sizes, focus, target sizes, headings and labels
- Code checks of every page: one main heading, heading order, form labels, alternative text, landmarks and duplicate IDs
- Keyboard checks of the menu, the image galleries and the dialogs
- Layouts checked at 1440, 1024, 375 and 320 px wide
- Downloadable PDFs validated against PDF/UA-1 with veraPDF
Automated checks find only part of the problems a site can have. A full manual review with screen readers has not been completed yet. This statement will be updated when it is.
Known limitations
Because the manual review with screen readers is still pending, some issues may not be known yet. If you find one, please tell me (see below). The external booking page (Calendly) is run by a third party; if it does not work for you, write to the email below and I will schedule with you directly.
Report a barrier
If something on this site does not work for you, write to hola@emirdesigner.com. Tell me the page and what happened. I will reply within five business days and, where possible, send you the content in another format.
